Radio Flyer has been making us smile for over 100 years. Everyone has their own unique Radio Flyer story of adventure and imagination. When redesigning the Radio Flyer headquarters in Chicago, it was important to create an experience that brought their rich history and culture of delight to life in the space. To capture the spirit of the little red wagon, the exhibit space was designed to tell the brand’s full history — spanning from the first wooden Liberty Flyer to the newest electric Tesla collaboration.

Tin can telephones allow children to record and pass on their Radio Flyer experiences, the walls are adorned with the brands most memorable moments, and in the “Test Track” — a playroom for testing new products — a giant felt mural pays tribute to some of the imagined adventures one can have from inside a Radio Flyer. Each carefully design display tells a piece of the Radio Flyer story, but also inspires new ones.
